I'm going through a time very special. I do a job that allows me to be in contact with many people from different parts of the world. All I know is that unfortunately the rest of the world are not like us Italians. I'm young so I can certainly testify that happened 50 years ago, how people behaved, they were young and life was like for example the daily life without TV. I have nostalgic memories as told by my grandfather, but no more. But what now appears in front of my eyes is a sick society where consumerism controls, the appearance and all or almost have forgotten what it means to be. We are all slaves to a vicious makes us almost or completely helpless, the TV with the passage of time has stoned peppering the brain of false illusions, false targets and false examples to follow. On the TV news and magazine programs we came to a spectacle of events like the massacre of Erba, for example, speculating on the poor lives have gone off that tragic night for more possible audience. Reason? Draw attention to the tragic events but which certainly do nothing but enrich the pockets of those who study these certain programs to broadcast commercials to sell to the highest bidder. The result then what? A concentration of demagoguery and hypocrisy. Then there's the ripple effect, on the street everyone is talking about, open debates, guidizi far-fetched. In the meantime, however, distract us from the real problems which unfortunately also lead to certain events.
There are a lot of problems that you will not see on TV ever. Look around, you think everything's fine? I think not!

Who were the Doors?

Ray Manzarek grew up in Chicago. As a young man he studied classical music at the Conservatory in Chicago and developed an affinity for the blues by attending night clubs South Side. During the years of high school, on weekends he played with several bands. A certain distrust of the profession of musician convinces Ray to join De Paul University, where he graduated in economics. The family moved to California and Manzarek he enrolled in the Faculty of Law, shortly before leaving for military service. Come back after your period of military he enrolled at UCLA, section of the film industry. Ray dips in the button world of art and makes friends with his partner Jim Morrison. During the summer of 1965 he enrolled in a course in transcendental meditation and where he met Ray Manzarek, the latter recruits him for his band, renamed by the new Doors singer Jim Morrison. Densmore seems reluctant at first, then the lyrics of the singer and the aspirations of the group to fuse poetry and rock'n'roll convince him to jump in the adventure. Krieger Densmore above a few weeks and participated in the first demo of the group.


Jim Morrison graduated from George Washington High School in Alexandria, Virginia, in 1961. After attending the Higher Institute of St. Petersburg Florida State University in Tallahassee, in 1964 he moved to UCLA, theater arts section, and in 1965 he completed a degree in cinematography. Jim lives in the attic of an abandoned building in Venice: it is a hectic time and transformation. Under the starry sky writes incessantly. His furious scribbles and memories they create a sound vision of things to come. And 'here which takes place the first concert of the Doors - in the mind Jim Morrison.
