Ranger's Apprentice Au And Us

Wednesday of the XXIX week of Ordinary Time - Gospel of the day Monday of the XXVIII

Gospel
Luke 12.39-48
From those who much is given, much will be required.

+ From the Gospel according to Luke

At that time, Jesus told his disciples: "Understand this: if the householder had known at what hour the thief was coming, do not be broken into Home. You also must be ready because hour you do not, is the Son of Man. "Then Peter said," Lord, you mean this parable for us or for everyone? ". The Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise, whom his master will set over his household to give them their portion of food in due time? Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes finds him doing so. Truly I tell you that it will set him over all his possessions. But if that servant says to himself: "My master is delayed in coming, and begins to beat the servants and the maidservants, to eat and drink and get drunk, the master of that servant will come a day which does not expect an hour and who does not know, will punish him severely and inflict the fate of the infidels deserve. The servant who knew his master's will, will not be ready or act according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes, but those who do not know, and have done things worthy of stripes, will receive a few. To whom much is given, much will be required, who was entrusted with much, much more will be required. " Word of the Lord
