Luke 20.27-40
God is not dead, but of the living.

At that time, some Sadducees came to Jesus - who say there is no resurrection - and put this question: "Teacher, Moses has commanded us: "If he dies the brother of someone who has a wife, but has no children, his brother should take his wife and raise up seed unto his brother." There were seven brothers: the first, after taking his wife died without children. Then he took the second and the third, and so all seven died childless. Finally the woman died. The woman then, the resurrection, whose wife will she be? For all seven had her as wife. "
Jesus answered them, "The children of this age marry and are given in marriage, but those who are considered worthy of future life and the resurrection from the dead, they neither marry nor be married: it can no longer die, because they are like angels and, since they are children of the resurrection, are children of God that the dead are raised, even Moses showed him about the bush when he says: "The Lord is the God of Abraham, God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. " God is not dead, but of the living: for all live to him. "
