Gospel
6.34 to 44 Mc
multiplying the loaves, Jesus manifests himself a prophet.
+ From the Gospel according to Mark
At that time, fell from the boat, Jesus saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things.
Having now done later, his disciples came to him saying: "The place is deserted and is now late; congedali, so that, going to the countryside and surrounding villages, they can buy food." But he answered them, "You give them something to eat." They said: "We have to go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread and feed them?". But he said unto them, How many loaves have you? Go and see. " He informed and said: "Five and two fish."
And he commanded them all sit down in groups on the green grass. So they sat down in groups of one hundred and fifty. Taking the five loaves and two fishes, he looked up to heaven, said the blessing, broke the loaves and gave them to his disciples to set before them to them, and divided the two fish among them all.
all ate their fill, and pieces of bread and took up twelve baskets full of fish that remained. Those who ate the loaves were five thousand men. Word of the Lord
